AEF Venezuela is a game about the current economic and social reality of Venezuela, which aims to inform gamers through the screen of their Androids. Do keep in mind that this is not strictly speaking a video game, and the developers themselves note that their aim isn't to entertain but to offer their own point of view on the reality of contemporary Venezuela.

The idea behind AEF Venezuela is the following: you play a high school teacher who has to shop for his family within an acceptable range of values in terms of health, hygiene, and hunger. To do so you'll need to buy and consume products as varied as rice, lentils, deodorant, toilet paper, and shampoo.

But buying basic products is no easy task. The first problem is that in every shop there are huge queues and the prices are erratic. There's also a chance that as soon as you leave your house somebody might jump you in the street and take all your money. In short: getting what you need for your family is complicated. And sooner or later your family's health, hygiene, or hunger levels will start to take a hit.

AEF Venezuela is a title with a very simple approach that manages to transmit its message in quite an effective way.
